Children are great observers but…

As children we were great observers. We observed the people and situations around us and made decisions about how to live. These decisions were often brilliant and effective for us during childhood. But as adults these same decisions lead to ineffective behavior. Our lack of awareness of our limiting beliefs creates difficulties in our relationships. Think of it like a toolbox. We carry around a toolbox with the tools we have acquired throughout our life. We will have no awareness that we’re even using a specific tool.  Even when a tool is ineffective we will use it again and again. Why? Because we are unaware. The purpose and necessity of awareness is to discover the tools we want to use which will also mean replacing the tools that no longer work. There is no limit to the number of effective methods to raising our level of awareness. The key is to choose a path and take the action.
